In the third, one out and...

the fierce Bryan Pena comes to bat. He's hitting a lofty 1.000 for '06 (1 for 1)1 He walks (of course). The pitcher, Ramirez (2nd game of the year), doubles. Giles then singles, SCORING TWO RUNS.

CUBS LOSE 2 TO 1!!

This also was Ramirez's 1st start since April 5th!

Now Kerry has gone two starts and can't do as well.

It isn't worth talking about but..

What another stupid lineup!

Good idea, Dusty, keep Ramirez 5th (.287 in May)! I like Hairston's .215 avg batting second! He (Hairston) has really shown me alot over the last two years (what a steal)! He's going to come out of major league slump any day now!! Jones 7th (after the rook, Murton, who sat out yesterday, bats 6th).

Cubs OBP % - last in the major leagues!
Walks taken - obviously last in the major leagues! You want to get their starters to throw 90 to 100 pitches in roughly 8 innings (that would be 8 to 12 pitches an inning)! THEY (OPPOSING PITCHERS) WOULD GET TIRED OTHERWISE!!

Walks given - most in the major leagues!

Pitch counts? I agree with the Cubs!! OVERRATED!!

So in conclusion, I believe our coaches are saying swing at anything and don't pitch them anything in the strike zone!! I have to admit this is something I didn't consider. If we (the Cubs) keep this up I think the opponents will start swinging in frustration at anything since thay haven't seen a strike in so long! Batting? Eyes closed you should still hit 1 of every 10 (see Bynum)!

Cubs have lost 19 of 23 going in to today's game. So...largest crowd since 1994!

This is so great! (I think I saw two fans with bags over their heads which is a 100% increase from the day before)!
